Crazy 8 Jewelry Wire Bracelet -- Jewelry Making Project -- Page 1

Inspiration comes in many strange ways.  For this bracelet, we had originally planned to make earrings using a wire component like this Crazy 8 wire component.  After making several of the wire components, we decided to try connecting them in a new orientation.  The end result is the bracelet shown at right and below. 

We liked the way this bracelet turned out even without any beads.  We will also discuss some ways to add beads to this bracelet. 

This is an advanced beginner's jewelry making project. 

Skills Required:

• Ability to cut wire with with a flush cutter.
• Ability to straighten wire with nylon jaw pliers.
• Ability to make a "P" Loop in wire.
• Ability to use a WigJig tool to make wire components. 
• Ability to make a figure 8 connector. 
• Ability to open and close loops to connect wire components.
