What better February jewelry making project could we have other than heart earrings.  We call these earrings Bead Still My Heart.  In the two samples we show here, we made one pair with red wire and white beads and the other pair with gold colored wire and red beads.  Both styles will be perfect for Valentine's Day. 

This is a beginner's jewelry making project that can be made on any of our WigJig tools.  The pattern we will show initially was made on our WigJig Delphi or Centaur, but this pattern can be readily adapted to any jig.  It does require two Super Pegs the same size, in the case of the earrings shown here, the Super Pegs were 5/16".

Skills Required:

• Ability to use round nose pliers or step jaw pliers to make loops in wire.
• Ability to wrap wire around pegs on a jewelry making jig to make wire components.
• Ability to make a bead dangle using a head pin and a bead.
• Ability to make a figure 8 connector.
• Ability to open and close loops.
