These round chandelier wire and beads earrings are an advanced beginner's jewelry making project.  The individual steps in making these earrings are easy, but because making these earrings involves making three wire components and connecting the three wire components they are probably not a good beginner's project. 

The three wire components that we make for these earrings are the large round component, the connector component and the small round component.  Because these components are completely round, this is one of the few designs on our web site that can not be easily made on the WigJig Centaur.  (It can be made on the Centaur by making 1/2 of the figure then rotating the wire one peg at a time to complete the other 1/2 of the circle.)  These earrings can be easily make on the WigJig Cyclops or Electra.

Most of the time, when we make a new jewelry design, it will take us several attempts to perfect the technique.  For this design, using our basic techniques for making jewelry with a jig, we were able to make these earrings on our first try.  For people who are less experienced you will probably find that it will be worthwhile to make these earrings one time in practice wire. 
 

Skills Required:

• Ability to use round nose pliers or step jaw pliers to make loops in wire.
• Ability to wrap wire around pegs on a jewelry making jig to make wire components.
• Ability to make a bead dangle using a head pin and a bead.
• Ability to make a modified figure 8 connector.
