Suzanne's Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings -- A Jewelry Making Project -- Page 1

We call these earrings Suzanne's Jewelry Wire & Beads Earrings because Boomer's Mom, Suzanne, designed them.  This design uses 10 regular metal pegs and the round pattern portion of our WigJig Cyclops or Centaur.  This is an Intermediate Project.  It is not suitable for someone who isn't comfortable making jewelry because it is larger and more complex than our beginner's projects.  Because there are so many steps in this project, it will take a little longer than our normal earrings projects to make these earrings. 

Warning, if you don't have patience, don't start this project.  In making these earrings, we flipped the design over after each loop.  The resulting finished piece will be just two layers of wire and will look better than if it were made without flipping the piece over.  Unfortunately, it takes longer to employ this technique.  We will try to show every step that we performed in this design.  Because we were removing the piece from our jig after making each loop in the earring body, there will be a lot of steps to making these earrings.  For some people, the complexity of this design will make it worth the additional effort.

• Ability to cut wire with with a flush cutter.
• Ability to straighten wire with nylon jaw pliers.
• Ability to make a bead dangle.
• Ability to use our WigJig tools to make wire components.
