  This
earring design is called "S" Spirals Jewelry Wire Earrings because the
two spirals sort of make the shape of the letter "S" in these earrings.
(Sometimes coming up with a good name for an earring design can be more
difficult than just making the design in the first place.) These
earrings can be made on any WigJig tool and use the Spiral Maker
Accessory to make the two spirals on opposite sides of one piece of
wire. At right, we show two alternative designs for these
earrings. At the far right, we show the basic design, with an open
loop at top and bottom. That design is easier to make and is
suitable for advanced beginner's and intermediate wire workers. At
near right, we show a slightly more difficult to make alternative design
with wrapped loops at the top and bottom.
