In this jewelry making project, we will make a yoke   The yoke is the center piece of the necklace.  This yoke can be the center piece in an ordinary necklace, connected to either a chain of wrapped bead links and commercial chain, like our chained jewels projects, or it can be connected to a necklace made of beads strung on Soft Flex and held in place by crimp beads like our Simply Soft Flex projects.  With a slight modification, this yoke could also be the center piece in an Interchangeable Necklace as shown at right.  With the Interchangeable Necklace, the yoke element can be exchanged allowing you to coordinate your earrings with your necklace without having to make many complete necklaces.  (We like labor saving projects like this.)
