No Jewelry Making Here -- Just a Tulip

No jewelry making here -- Carpenter Bee in Azaleas

These flowers are particularly hardy as they get almost no care and yet each spring, they brighten our lives with the colors you see here.

 

One has to wonder what it would be like if we really cared for these flowers.  The flowers shown here are tulips and azaleas.  The bee shown above right is called a carpenter bee because they make individual nests in the wood of dead trees, or in the wood of your deck if it isn't protected.
