WigJig Newsletter for March 9, 2003
We are continuing to improve our newsletter, so please feel free to provide feedback at custsrv@wigjig.com.
In our last newsletter, I failed to properly enter the information to display the pictures. For this reason, I am sending another short newsletter; hopefully, this time with the pictures. The following four pictures show some of our new products including the new colors of our Swarovski Crystal Pearls and our Swarovski 6mm Square beads. Instructions for how to make the Four Leaf Clover component shown in the two pearl bracelets below are proved as this weeks new design. Instructions for how to make the Amethyst Cubes Bracelet shown below were last week's project for the week. You can find those instructions here.
ON SALE:
We try to update the items we have on special sale pricing with every newsletter. A small sample of the products we currently have on sale are shown below. Please select any of these pictures to view our entire list of sale items. Quantities are limited for these items so please shop early.

JEWELRY MAKING DESIGN: With every newsletter we try to provide a free jewelry making design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices. This week's free design is the Four Leaf Clover Bracelet shown at right. This bracelet uses either eight 6mm Swarovski Emerald Square Beads (Item 2757) or nine Swarovski Amethyst Bicone Beads (Item 2500), with a gold-filled 6mm magnetic clasp (item 0337), a guard chain made from fine gold-filled wire (item 2609), and a wire link that can be made on any of our WigJigs using 18G gold-filled half hard wire (item 1010). The beads are strung on 22G 1/2 hard gold filled wire (item 1013) using a technique called the wrapped bead link. The wrapped bead links are used to connect the wire component that we call the Four Leaf Clover. The technique for making the wrapped bead link is provided here, and is described in greater detail in our jewelry making online book, "Wire Design Basics" which is on sale this week. Select here for the complete instructions on how to make this bracelet. |

Jewelry Making Technique of the week: Our WigJig University jewelry making technique for this newsletter is how to make the wrapped bead link used in making the Four Leaf Clover Bracelet shown above. The wrapped bead link, shown at right, is an important skill for connecting findings, wire and bead components into finished jewelry projects. Select either the picture or the text at right to visit the free instructions for this technique in WigJig University. As indicated above, we also have more detailed instructions in our online book "Wire Design Basics" which is on sale at present for $3 off. |
