MAKING DESIGN: With every newsletter we provide a free design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices. This newsletter's free design is the design for the Queen of Clubs earrings as shown at right. This component can be made on any WigJig and only requires three regular, metal pegs. You can view instructions for how to make this bracelet and earring set here. These earrings are simple, elegant, and easy to make. They are called the Queen of Clubs earrings because the three loops at the bottom resemble the card suit clubs. They are the "Queen" of clubs because we believe that the Prince and King will not look good in this style of earrings. |

Technique:
The technique for this week is the design for the Christmas Tree shown at right. This design can be made relatively large as an ornament, or can be made smaller with colorful wire as the body for Christmas earrings. The design can be made on any WigJig using the Spiral Maker associated with that jig. We first displayed this design in July. We are repeating it here because it is so appropriate during this season.
