WigJig News: We are no longer selling our Wire Design Projects or our Wire Design Techniques CDs as we have sold our entire inventory and do not intend to reorder. We now have the ability to sell a CD of our entire WigJig web site as of October 1, 2004, including access to all of our online books. There are over $85 worth of online books and over 2,000 web pages on this CD. This product is focused on people who have a slow Internet connection and have trouble browsing our web site. At present we do not advertise this product, other than via this newsletter. This CD will sell for $59.95 and can not be combined with any other order as we make this CD in our office and ship it directly to the customer from our office (not our warehouse). | Free Jewelry
Design: With every newsletter we provide a new jewelry design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices. The new design for this newsletter is design for the Duplex Bracelet with Beads shown at right. This bracelet is similar to many of our Chained Jewels designs, but uses a wire component made in our WigJig Delphi, Centaur, Olympus or Olympus-Lite to allow us to make a double bracelet, but using a normal clasp. We also include a pattern for making a three level bracelet using similar wire components. Instructions for making this bracelet with matching earrings can be found here. This bracelet and earrings set makes an excellent Christmas present, but if you see my sister, please don't mention this as it would spoil the surprise. |

Jewelry Technique: This weeks jewelry technique is a review of the techniques for minimizing the tool marks on your wire components. Among other things to do or consider are using Fine Step Jaw Pliers and/or Round/Flat pliers to make loops without marking the wire. The flat jaw of these pliers spreads the gripping force out so that it does not mark the wire. The round jaw will mark the wire, but it will be on the inside of the loop where it can not be seen. We have added two web pages to our Beginners section that describe four steps to helping minimize tools marks on wire components. These two new web pages are page 25 and 26 in our Beginner's Section.
