WigJig News: One final note on the passing of Glenn Helwig. We were to learn well after his death that he had colon cancer. Unfortunately, his doctor did not insist that he have a colonoscopy. Had he had a colonoscopy five years earlier, his cancer could have been caught and easily treated. Armed with this knowledge, our family has scheduled colonoscopies for all of us over 50. If you are over 50 and have not had a colonoscopy, please schedule this procedure. As we learned the hard way, it really can save your life.

Our WigJig professional jewelry critic (my wife) says that this is the nicest bracelet that I have made. It takes about two hours to make a bracelet like this, but if you like is as much as our critic, it may be worth the investment in time. This design is a slightly more advanced modification to our earlier Duplex Bracelet. This is an intermediate jewelry making project. It is not appropriate for beginners. Jewelry Technique: This weeks jewelry technique is a continuation of the discussion of some common jewelry making mistakes and what can be done to avoid them.
