Design: With every newsletter we provide a new jewelry design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices. The new design for this newsletter is the design for the Smile Yoke Necklace shown at right. This yoke or centerpiece for a necklace can be incorporated into our Interchangeable Necklace design or made as the center piece in a conventional necklace. The yoke is made on our WigJig Centaur, Cyclops or Electra with a combination of 18 gauge and 20 or 21 gauge wire. This yoke uses two simple to make wire components rather than one more complex component. The design is strong and the shape will be permanent given normal wear. The Smile Yoke jewelry making project is an advanced beginner's project. If you are comfortable making bead dangles and wire components on our WigJig tools, you should have no problems making this necklace.
