We have received several requests for a copy of our web site on a CD.  We now have a copy of our web site as of Jan. 31, 2006 that includes all of our 2,300+ web pages plus all of our WigJig Online Books.  This CD will run on any CD drive and includes over 2,500 total pages.  The purchase price for the online books alone, if purchased separately, would be almost $65.  The purchase price for the CD is $49.95 plus $3.95 in shipping and handling (for shipping within the US).  The Suzan Gran's Bracelet and Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectCDs will be shipped separately from other items in our Internet store and can not at this time be combined with other items to achieve free shipping.  If you would like to order this CD, please send us an e-mail with your address and telephone number

This week's guest contributor is Suzan Gran of Hamden, CT.  Suzan has contributed a bracelet and earring design shown at right.  This design uses ocean jasper stones.  The bracelet includes a clasp made using one of our WigJig tools.  The earrings use our Infinity earrings design that you can find on our web site here.  Suzan can be reached at szcarver@mindspring.com with questions on her design.

Many people ask us to keep them updated on the Shows that we attend.  The next show that we will attend will be a new show for us.  We will be at the Bead Expo in Charleston, South Carolina from May 18th through 21st.  The 18th will be a wholesale only day, but the 19th, 20th and 21st will be open to the general public.  Again, we will be at the Soft Flex booth showing our jewelry and demonstrating our jigs.  There won't be a booth that says WigJig.  The Bead Expo will be held in the Charleston Area Convention Center.  Select here for a map to the Convention Center.  You can find information on the Bead Expo here:

Fun Beaded Earrings Jewelry Making Project Free Jewelry Design:
Fun Beaded Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectWith every newsletter we provide a new jewelry design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices.  The new design for this newsletter is the design for the Fun Earrings shown here.  We have three alternative designs for these earrings.  The alternatives shown left and right are post style earrings made on any WigJig from one wire component.  The earrings shown at left, hang perpendicular to the body and therefore are a little unusual and perhaps more fun.  The earring design shown at right hangs parallel to the body and are therefore Alternative Design for Fun Earrings Jewelry Making Projectmore conventional and perhaps less fun.  These two earrings are shown slightly larger than actual size.  The design shown below-right was made form two wire components connected to one another and uses a commercial ear wire finding.  This earring is shown close to its actual size.

To view our instructions for how to make this jewelry item please select here or select any earring picture above.  We hope that these earrings will be fun for you.

Past Techniques:
We maintain a techniques web page that provides links to the discussion of techniques in our prior newsletters.  You can visit this web page here.  Follow the links on that page to the Interchangeable Ear Wire Jewelry Making Projectdiscussion of the technique in that newsletter.

Jewelry Technique:
This weeks jewelry making technique is a new page of instructions on how to Interchangeable Ear Wire Finding Jewelry Making Project -- Removing the Beadmake an interchangeable ear wire.  An interchangeable ear wire is an ear wire finding that is made in a manner so that the bead dangle on the ear wire can be removed and replaced.  This can be a very nice feature when you travel.  Instead of bringing a series of earrings to compliment your apparel, you can bring one pair of interchangeable ear wires and a series of pairs of bead dangles.  The combination is small, light and easy to take on travel and allows tremendous flexibility.  The pattern shown for making these ear wires uses the round pattern of the WigJig Centaur or Cyclops, but could be easily modified to work on any of our jigs.  Please select either picture or select here to view our instructions for making these interchangeable ear wires.

Four Leaf Clover Bracelet Jewelry Making Project Made with Emerald BeadsNostalgia Corner:

Four Leaf Clover Earrings Jewelry Making ProjectThis weeks featured design in our Nostalgia Corner is the design for the Four Leaf Clover Bracelet and Earrings shown here.  With St. Patrick's Day coming, this is a great time to revisit this design.  The bracelet and earrings shown were made with clover wire components made on our WigJig Olympus or Olympus Lite using round, half-hard, 18 gauge wire and with round 6mm emerald Swarovski beads.  In making the clover wire component, the wire was flipped over after making the loops on peg 2 and 3 so that the finished piece will lay flatter.  This is the "New Clover" design discussed on page 5 of the instructions for this project.  To view our instructions for the Four Leaf Clover Bracelet and Earrings select either picture or select here.  It is just about time to get ready for green beer!
