WigJig News: Newsletter schedule. During the summer we are going to cut back to one newsletter per month. This will be our newsletter for June, we will send another newsletter in July and a single one in August. During September, we will be back to sending a newsletter every two weeks. Classes in the West Coast. From August 10 to 13th, Gary Helwig will be in Sonoma, CA holding classes at the Soft Flex/Bead Unique Glass Art & Bead Festival. Gary will be giving two beginners classes, two classes on the Deluxe Duplex Bracelet shown below and two chandelier earring classes (See the earrings at right). You can view information on these classes here. Gary will not be doing demonstrations at the bead show, although Soft Flex will be selling our WigJig tools at this show. New Findings. We have added some new findings to our internet store. These findings can be seen below, larger than life. On the left is our new snap-set lever back earring setting. In the center is our round bezel setting to be used as a pendant on a chain and on the right is our round bezel setting with loop that we use to make earrings. About Us. Many people ask us about how our
company started. For
those of
you who are interested we have a brief write-up here. |

Free Jewelry
Design: With every newsletter
we provide a new jewelry design
from WigJig University
to spur the creative juices. The new design for this newsletter is
the design for the Tie Chain with Bling shown at right. This
design uses one of our new round bezel findings to set an 8mm gemstone
into a tie chain. This is perhaps the perfect gift for the man who
has everything. We suggest that you consider a tie chain with his
birthstone like the emerald (May) shown at right. You can also go
with the always popular simulated diamond (White CZ) for the fat
cat who wants to show some bling. We really like this jewelry
making project for someone who wears ties. Is it too early to
start getting ready for Christmas?
This tie chain is made with 9 inches of 18 gauge 1/2 hard wire and 4 inches of 22 gauge 1/2 hard wire. It could also be made with less expensive soft wire. The WigJig Centaur or Delphi with one 1/4" Super Peg was used to make the button holder wire component that is central to the tie chain.
