Free Jewelry Design:
Jessica's Earrings with Tanzanite Beads Jewelry Making ProjectWith every newsletter we provide a new jewelry design from WigJig University to spur the creative juices.  The new design for this newsletter is the design for the "Jessica's Earrings" shown at right.  If one hoop is good and two hoops is better -- what about three hoops?  These hoop earrings are the current rage.  You see similar earrings every where including magazines and on television.  These earrings have a lot of motion when you wear them as each circle of wire moves independently.  Couple this motion with the flash of light off the crystal bead in the center and these earrings really get noticed.  Jessica's Earrings can be made on any of our WigJig tools but do require our 2", 1.5" and 1" Larger Round Super Pegs for the jig you use.  This project is suitable for advanced beginners and intermediate wire workers.  It uses 16 gauge, 22 gauge and 24 or 26 gauge wire along with two head pins and a pair of ear wire findings.  We hope you like these earrings -- Jessica did.

Jewelry Technique:Round Bezel Earrings Jewelry Making Technique
This weeks jewelry making technique is a discussion of two new ten minute jewelry making projects Castlite Gemstone Earrings Jewelry Making Techniqueusing our new findings and some man made gemstones or CZs.  The necklace shown at right is made with our round bezel setting and accommodates an 8mm (about 2carat) gemstone.  The earrings shown at left are a variety called Castelite by the manufacturer of the ear wire findings.  These earrings probably aren't the best choice for your first jewelry project, but are quite suitable for advanced beginners who are comfortable using pliers and manipulating metal and wire.  Please select either picture to visit the instructions for that jewelry making project or select here.  Be certain to visit both pages 8 and 9 to view both new projects.

Nostalgia Corner:
Money Earrings Jewelry Making Project
This weeks featured design in our Nostalgia Corner is the design for our Money Earrings shown at left.  This is one of our most popular earring designs because it is simple, and unique.  The shape of the earrings reminds us of a dollar sign, hence the name Money Earrings.  These earrings are made using two Super Pegs the same size (either 3/8" or 1/2" size) and can be made on any of our clear WigJig Jewelry Making Tools.  The wire used to make these earrings is 20 gauge soft wire for the basic body of the earrings and 24 or 22 gauge wire for the wrap around the center of the earring that holds the beads in place.  From our discussions with people who sell jewelry, we believe that these earrings are appropriately named as the feedback indicates that this style of earring sells well.

Please select here, or select the picture above left to view our instructions for making the Money Earrings.
