How to Unsubscribe: After our last newsletter we had 10 people who reported our newsletter as SPAM to their internet provider. In the Internet world this is the functional equivalent of throwing a brick through your picture window. This action makes it more difficult for all the subscribers who want to receive our newsletter. Please note that we have not signed up anyone to receive our newsletter. If you share an e-mail address with another person or persons, it may be that they signed up for this newsletter. We do not send the newsletter to anyone who hasn't specifically requested it. If you signed up for our newsletter and then decided you didn't want to receive it any more, the proper way to unsubscribe is to select the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every newsletter e-mail or to follow our sign up link above. On that sign up page we also provide a way for people to unsubscribe. Falsely reporting our newsletter as SPAM because you are too lazy to follow the unsubscribe procedure is harmful to all 29,000 subscribers on our newsletter mailing list.

Design: With every newsletter
we provide a new jewelry design
from WigJig University
to spur the creative juices. The new design for this newsletter
is the design for the 24" orange dichroic glass beaded necklace
shown at right, with additional segments shown below.
Our instructions for this project describe in detail how we made this necklace, including how we used 20 or 22 gauge wire to connect between the bead stringing wire that holds the beads and the clasp. As you can see in these pictures, we used an end cone finding to cover most of this wire. The wire is used between the clasp and the bead stringing wire because the magnetic clasp that we used for this necklace has edges that are abrasive. Even with using bead stringing wire instead of thread, there is a remote possibility that the clasp could saw through the bead stringing wire. These instructions are written to provide a beginner to using bead stringing wire all the steps, tools and skills necessary to string a necklace like this. To view our instructions for how to make this necklace with orange dichroic glass beads jewelry making projects select here, or select any picture above. |

Warning! Joke Follows. If you have ever in your entire life been offended by any joke -- please skip the below paragraphs. Some of the below jokes are lawyer jokes. If you are a lawyer, stop reading now. If you know a lawyer, stop reading now. If you ever thought you might like to be a lawyer, stop reading now. It is not our intention to offend anyone! Boomer Humor: In honor of the disbarment of Mike Nifong, the former Durham County District Attorney, we feel compelled to share a joke or two about lawyers. For those of you who think Mr. Nifong received and appropriate punishment, you may read on. A blind rabbit is hopping through the woods and bumps into someone. The rabbit says "I am sorry, I did not realize you were there because I am blind." What the rabbit bumped into was a blind snake. The snake responds "That is quite alright, I am blind too." The rabbit responds "This is quite an opportunity. I have been blind all my life and I don't really know what I am. Would you feel me and tell me what I am?" The snake responds "Sure. You have long ears, a twitchy nose and fluffy fur. You must be a rabbit." The snake then adds " I too have been blind all my life. Would you feel me and tell me what I am?" The rabbit responds "Certainly. You are slimy, you have a forked tongue and you have no genitals. You must be Mike Nifong." Here is a quick joke. What is brown and black and would look good on Mike Nifong? Answer -- a Doberman. One last joke. What is the difference between Mike Nifong and a flounder? One is a scum sucking, bottom dwelling scavenger and the other is just a fish. |
